Here's a fun fact - advertisers on Google Adwords who test multiple ad copy variations in their campaigns get, on average, a 21% higher click through rate than those who just have one ad (according to Wordstream)
I wouldn't be surprised to see similar statistics for Facebook ads either.
Basically, if you want to get the best possible results from paid digital advertising, then you always need to test multiple ads in your campaigns.
One of the biggest mistakes I see people making when "DIY-ing" their digital marketing, especially on Adwords and Facebook Ads, is creating one ad per ad group/campaign.
You should always test multiple variants to see which performs the best.
Once you find a winner, riff off that one and test more.
Most modern advertising platforms are very good at identifying and prioritizing the top performing ads - but you need to give them something to play with.
So whenever you create ads, make sure you create multiple variations.
This is one of the most effective steps you can take to boost the performance of your ads.
