If your business uses Facebook Ads, then make sure you take the time and effort to experiment with different ad types and objectives to see what works best for you.
I still see plenty of business owners jumping on the “boost post” or “clicks to website” options as they are the most accessible, without doing adequate testing and experimentation.
For example, if your goal is to generate leads, then try Facebok’s Lead Ad option.
You might find that you get more leads at a lower cost per lead.
How about messenger ads?
I’ve seen these used to great effect, even in B2B verticals where one wouldn’t normally imagine Facebook would be likely to work well (the trick here was using them at the end of a remarketing sequence).
However, you also need to take quality into account. If the quality of the leads is lower, then perhaps you are better off sticking with the “tried and true”. Without finding my crystal ball - or working with you on the planning, execution and analysis - I can’t say what type of Facebook ad (if any) will work for your business.
The way you find out is through testing. Same applies for other ad networks too - test to see what type/objective works best for your needs.
